Hyderabad: The ruling Congress party is speeding up its preparations for the upcoming local body elections. To boost these efforts, a meeting of the Congress Legislative Party (CLP) will be held in Hyderabad on Sunday.
The meeting will take place at a hotel in Madhapur. Its main focus will be on improving communication between the government and local party workers. The goal is to ensure that the party performs well in the local body elections. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy wants to make sure that the government’s achievements are clearly communicated to voters, especially in rural areas.
Although the Congress government has fulfilled many promises, including loan waivers for farmers, there is a feeling that it hasn’t done enough to spread the word about these accomplishments. Additionally, negative campaigning by the opposition has hurt the party’s image. The Congress hopes to change this and make sure voters are aware of all the good work it has done.
On Saturday, PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud began holding review meetings with party leaders from various districts. In these meetings, key party figures from Warangal, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad discussed strategies. Incharge ministers, local MLAs, and DCC presidents attended these meetings at Gandhi Bhavan, along with AICC State incharge Deepa Dasmushi.
