Musharraf Ali Faruqui has become the new chairman and managing director of Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL). He took over the role from G Raghuma Reddy on Friday. Faruqui graduated from IIT Madras in 2014 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Before joining TSSPDCL, he held positions such as Additional Commissioner in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Collector and District Magistrate in Nirmal, and Director of the Excise and Prohibition Department in the Telangana government.
After assuming his new position, Faruqui conducted a review of the TSSPDCL office. The meeting was attended by Directors T Srinivas, J Srinivasa Reddy, K Ramulu, Ch Madan Mohan Rao, G Parvatham, S Swamy Reddy, G Gopal, and other officers.
