District Collector RV Karnan spoke at a meeting in Karimnagar on Monday. He told officials to register everyone who is 18 years old or older as a voter by October 1, 2023. Representatives from different political parties attended the meeting at the collector’s office. The Collector said that from May 25 to June 23, officials would go door to door with BLOs to register voters.
After that, from June 24 to July 24, officials would improve polling centers, photo images, and make changes to polling station boundaries. From July 25 to 31, officials would prepare format 1 to 8 and publish the draft roll on October 1. From August 2 to 31, people can make objections to the draft roll. Officials will address complaints during a special campaign.
Karimnagar and Huzurabad RDOs Anand Kumar, Harisingh, DRDO Srilatha, and representatives from different political parties attended the meeting.
