Collector Uday Kumar ensures robust plans for conducting counting operations.

State Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj recently reviewed the Lok Sabha election counting process with district election officials through a video conference. The meeting included other Chief Electoral Officers from Hyderabad as well.

During the video conference, Election Returning Officer and Collector Uday Kumar, along with other officials, discussed the arrangements for the general elections to be held in the Lok Sabha. They briefed Vikas Raj on the steps taken for counting in Nagar Kurnool.

The officials mentioned that the counting of votes is scheduled for June 4 and will be carried out in strict compliance with Election Commission guidelines. EVM machines from various assembly segments were sealed in the strong room at Nellikonda agricultural market yard, with training for counting staff already completed.

The counting process will be transparently conducted in front of CCTV cameras and central security forces to ensure accuracy and fairness in the electoral process.
