    After the Opposition walkout, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor criticized the Prime Minister for not addressing the issue of Manipur in his speech. Tharoor stated that the PM’s speech was purely political and did not provide any new information or address the questions raised during the no-confidence motion.

    Gaurav Gogoi, who moved the no-confidence motion, expressed disappointment that the PM did not speak about the Manipur issue. He believed that the objective of seeking justice for Manipur was not achieved and accused PM Modi of evading his responsibility.

    DMK MP TR Baalu also criticized the PM for not discussing the situation in Manipur and other parts of the country affected by violence. Baalu described the PM’s speech as purely political.
