In Mahabubnagar, the Congress party is working hard to win the MP seat, with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy leading the charge. He has visited the constituency six times in a month, giving orders to party members to bring in local leaders and increase grassroots campaigning.
A survey by the All India Congress Committee showed their candidate Vamshi Chand Reddy behind BJP’s DK Aruna. In response, CM Revanth made quick visits to Kodangal, Narayanpet, and Mahabubnagar to meet with district Congress leaders.
Under CM’s guidance, the Congress leadership, led by G Madhusundah Reddy, has changed their strategy. They are now recruiting key local leaders from other parties and focusing on gaining support at the village level.
The BJP candidate DK Aruna has pushed back against CM’s attacks, accusing Congress of spreading lies out of fear. She is confident in her ability to win due to her strong local connections.
Despite a recent increase in support for BRS after a visit by former CM KCR, BJP remains ahead in the campaign. Congress is facing a tough competition, with BRS trailing in third place according to voter sentiment.
