Congress leader DK Shiva Kumar to visit Hyderabad today in anticipation of election outcome

The Congress party is taking the upcoming Telangana elections very seriously. They want to make sure that their candidates stay loyal and do not switch parties. Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar has been sent to Hyderabad by the Congress High Command to assess the situation and prevent any defections.

Shivakumar said that some of their candidates were approached by leaders from the BRS party, but he hopes that all of them will stay with the Congress. He mentioned that their candidates have given them all the necessary information about this matter. Shivakumar and his MLAs will be in Hyderabad and they are being very careful.

Shivakumar also said that he does not trust exit polls and does his own post-poll surveys. According to his survey, the Congress party has a strong wave of support in Telangana. He confidently stated that the Congress will come to power in Telangana and Madhya Pradesh. He also mentioned that this time, TRS leader K. Chandrasekhar Rao will not be able to lure Congress leaders away.

He emphasized that there will be no need to move Congress MLAs who win in Telangana and Madhya Pradesh to resorts in Bangalore, as no one can buy their loyalty.
