Congress’ next goal: Focusing on LS elections; all key leaders to participate in campaigning

The AICC is focusing on winning the majority of Lok Sabha seats in Telangana. AICC senior leader Jairam Ramesh met with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to discuss strategy, candidate selection, and sources of finance. They also discussed the support the AICC would provide to the state party and the campaign strategy to consolidate gains from the recent Assembly elections. Rahul Gandhi and other top leaders will campaign intensively in Telangana. The Chief Minister shared his views on the action plan and the phased implementation of the Six Guarantees, as well as emphasizing prudent financial management. The government plans to launch additional components of the Mahalakshmi scheme, including providing gas cylinders to poor families for Rs 500 and a monthly cash dole of Rs 2,500 for women.
