Congress reviews strategy for Khammam local elections

Khammam/Hyderabad: Senior Congress leaders from the unified Khammam district gathered on Tuesday. They attended a Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) meeting to discuss plans and readiness for upcoming local and organizational elections.

The meeting took place at the Hyderabad camp office of Meenakshi Natarajan, Telangana’s in-charge, with TPCC President Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud leading the session.

District Congress Committee (DCC) President Puvvalla Durgaprasad participated as an important delegate. Meenakshi Natarajan was the chief guest. The focus was on election coordination, boosting party structures, and increasing grassroots involvement in Khammam.

Former MLA Podem Veeraiah, Viswanath AICC Secretary, CEC special invitee, and Khammam district in-charge CH Vamshichand Reddy were also in attendance.

The discussions highlighted the Congress party’s renewed dedication to strengthening its team, aligning district efforts with state leadership, and preparing thoroughly for upcoming elections in the area.
