Hyderabad: A serious incident happened at the Blind Girls Hostel in July 2024. A visually handicapped girl was reportedly raped. Her mother has taken the matter to the Telangana High Court. Justice Bollam Vijaysen Reddy is handling the case.
The police filed a report on July 16 against the suspect. The accused is a bathroom cleaner who worked at the hostel. The police want the girl’s statement to be recorded by a magistrate.
However, the girl is scared to come to Hyderabad because of the traumatic experience. Despite her fear, the officer is insisting that she be brought to the city to give her statement.
