The Women and Children Safety Wing of Cyberabad Police celebrated Telangana Formation Day by hosting an Open House Session. This was done to increase awareness about safety for women and children. The event was attended by 110 college girls from different institutions. The girls were taken to the bharosa centre in Gachibowli, where they were shown how victims are helped in a friendly manner. They were also taught about the function of SHE teams and child rescue operations- SMILE and MUSKAN. The girls were encouraged to approach the police whenever they needed help.
Short movies on women’s safety and the Telangana State Police were shown to the girls. The event aimed to empower citizens and raise awareness about women’s safety. Cyberabad police is working towards creating a safer and more secure environment for the women in Telangana.
