Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand held a video conference with police officers to discuss security arrangements for Holi. This year, Holi falls on the same day as the second Friday of Ramzan, which is a rare occurrence after 35 years.
To ensure peaceful celebrations, the Commissioner suggested setting up pickets in important and sensitive areas across the city. He emphasized that advance measures have already been taken to ensure both festivals are conducted smoothly.
Commissioner Anand also instructed officers to stay alert and take necessary precautions to prevent any disturbances. He stressed the importance of keeping a close watch on anti-social elements and troublemakers.
During the meeting, Commissioner CV Anand extended his wishes to the people of Hyderabad. He hoped that the festival of Holi would bring joy and brightness to everyone’s lives.
The video conference was attended by Vikram Singh Mann, Additional CP Law and Order, Chaitanya Kumar, DCP Special Branch, and all zonal officers of Hyderabad.
