The Commissioner of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation led an interdepartmental early morning inspection on Thursday, accompanied by the Managing Director of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), along with officials from Police, TGIIC, and Zonal departments. The joint inspection aimed to review the progress of critical infrastructure and civic works across the Cyberabad region, ensuring coordinated execution of ongoing development projects.
The inspection team covered multiple key projects across the area. At Raidurgam Metro – Lemon Tree Junction, officials reviewed the progress of MS pipeline shifting work, which is crucial for maintaining uninterrupted water supply while accommodating metro infrastructure development. The team assessed the technical aspects of the pipeline relocation and discussed timelines for completion to minimize disruption to daily commuters and residents.
The officials also visited the Durgham Cheruvu Lake Front development site, where they inspected the ongoing beautification and restoration work. The lake front development project is part of the broader initiative to rejuvenate water bodies in the Cyberabad region and create recreational spaces for citizens. The team examined the quality of construction work and adherence to environmental guidelines during the inspection.
Maintenance of the trunk line connected to the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) was another critical area covered during the joint inspection. Officials evaluated the condition of existing infrastructure and discussed necessary repairs and upgrades to ensure efficient sewage management. The team also inspected the Camelot Road nala construction and line shifting work, focusing on drainage system improvements to prevent waterlogging during monsoon seasons.
According to officials, this joint effort demonstrates seamless coordination between multiple departments, enabling faster issue resolution and reducing inconvenience to citizens. The interdepartmental approach allows for real-time problem-solving and ensures that infrastructure projects progress without bureaucratic delays. The collaborative inspection model has been adopted to maintain transparency and accountability in civic works execution.
The inspection concluded with officials emphasizing the importance of continued inter-agency cooperation. The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation stated that such joint inspections will be conducted regularly to monitor ongoing projects and address challenges promptly. The initiative operates under the motto of “One Team. One Mission. Team Cyberabad,” reflecting the unified approach toward urban development and civic infrastructure improvement in the region.
