Cyberabad records 122 instances of wrong-way driving

The Cyberabad traffic police have taken action against 631 vehicles in the past two days for driving on the wrong side of the road. This dangerous behavior puts others at risk and is illegal. FIRs were registered under Section 336 of the IPC, which can lead to imprisonment, fines, or both.

A special drive was conducted on Saturday at various locations under the Cyberabad Commissionerate to catch those driving in the wrong direction. The police are making efforts to stop this dangerous practice and have already filed 122 FIRs and caught 631 vehicles for wrong-side driving.

The cases were reported in areas like Gachibowli, KPHB, Kukatpally, Madhapur, Narsingi, and Raidurgam. The Cyberabad traffic police have identified 124 locations where wrong-way driving is common and are installing cameras to automatically detect and fine offenders.
