In Hyderabad, the Cyberabad SHE teams carried out 135 operations undercover, capturing 44 people involved in inappropriate behavior in public. These individuals faced minor charges and attended mandatory counseling. Additionally, the SHE Teams received 12 complaints from women through different platforms.
Srujana Karnam, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Cyberabad’s Women and Child Safety Wing, highlighted their efforts to raise awareness. The team organized 72 awareness programs and three counseling sessions for women and children.
At the Centre for Development and Empowerment of Women (CDEW), around 38 families received guidance on marital issues, aiming to resolve conflicts and promote reunification.
The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) registered four cases under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act in areas like Gachibowli, Madhapur, and Narsingi. They rescued five victims and arrested six people. Additional raids led to the arrest of six transgender individuals and 12 sex workers in the Jeedimetla, Kukatpally, Kphb, and Narsingi areas.
