Cyclone warning issued for Hyderabad by IMD

Hyderabad is on alert as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for several districts in Telangana. The forecast predicts thunderstorms and lightning until Wednesday, October 22.

A weather enthusiast has suggested a potential cyclone threat to Hyderabad. This prediction was shared on social media, highlighting possible cyclone tracks from October 23 to 26. The tracks include a route from Nellore to Chennai, through Rayalaseema and Bengaluru, another from Ongole to Guntur, passing through South Telangana to Hyderabad, and a third where the system may move along the East Coast in the Bay of Bengal. However, the IMD Hyderabad has not confirmed any cyclone warnings yet.

The IMD predicts rain in Hyderabad for the next three days, ending on October 21. Another weather enthusiast, known as Telangana Weatherman, forecasts intense thunderstorms in districts like Khammam, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Mulugu, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, and Warangal from afternoon to night. He also expects isolated light to moderate rainfall in Hyderabad.
