Bhupalapally: District Collector Rahul Sharma said that the DGPS device will help speed up land surveys.
At an event held on Thursday at the Collectorate, the Collector handed over a Digital Global Positioning System (DGPS) device to Kusum Kumari, the Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records. The device is worth Rs 16.78 lakh.
Rahul Sharma explained that using this technology will make the survey work faster and more transparent.
He also said the DGPS device will be very helpful for quickly completing land acquisition needed for industries, road construction, and the small Kaleshwaram project in the district.
