The Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory for Muharram. They are urging people to take prescribed or alternate routes during the processions. The Tazia procession will affect traffic in Delhi, especially in Central Delhi, New Delhi, and South Delhi. The largest procession will start from Old Delhi, pass through Central Delhi, and reach Karbala in South Delhi.

According to the traffic advisory, vehicles going towards New Delhi Railway Station should use the Ajmeri Gate instead of Paharganj Marg. Processions will start from areas like Sadar Bazar, Jama Masjid, Daryaganj, Chawri Bazar, Matia Mahal, and Lal Kuan. These processions will join the main procession in the morning.
