Hyderabad: Members of the Meru caste have requested the government to give them reservations in local government bodies.
On Tuesday, leaders of the State Meru Sangam met with Busani Venkateshwara Rao, the chairman of the Dedicated Commission. During the meeting, they submitted their request for reservations.
The delegation included several key members, such as K Rajgopal, D Narsinga Rao, S B Sangewar, K Venkatesh, M Laxminarayana, and others.
