Hyderabad: The State Energy Department has launched an investigation into a tragic electrocution accident that resulted in six deaths at Ramantapur late Sunday night.

TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director, Musharraf Farooqui, visited the site to gather information about the incident. Officials explained that idle cable wires connecting two buildings had fallen and contacted an 11 KV overhead line, which then touched an iron-framed chariot.

Electricity was transmitted through copper wires in the cable, leading to the accident. Officials quickly arrived at the scene to determine the cause. They stated that there was no negligence from the electricity department in this matter.
