    Hyderabad: As schools reopened on Thursday, Greater Hyderabad Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shoban Reddy handed out textbooks and uniforms to students at a government school in Tarnaka. This initiative is part of the Badi Bata 2025 program.

    The Deputy Mayor emphasized several government efforts designed to enhance students’ futures. These initiatives include digital classrooms, well-equipped labs for science, math, and English, and vocational courses like binding, electrical work, and tailoring. The government also provides free mid-day meals, uniforms, and textbooks, along with free medical check-ups and bus passes. Scholarships are available for SC/ST and minority students, and computer classes are offered for students in grades VI through X.
