During the review, DGP Anand highlighted that wearing the police uniform is a privilege, noting that only about 0.16% of the state’s 4.5 crore population gets the opportunity to serve in uniform. He directed officers to strengthen night patrolling to curb property offences and instructed strict implementation of CCTNS data management. The DGP also announced that a Traffic Management Bureau, similar to EAGLE, will soon be established to improve road safety across the region.
The DGP appreciated citizens who played a vital role in installing CCTV cameras in their villages and urged responsible reporting of drug abuse cases, particularly among youth in villages and educational institutions. He directed police to wage war against narcotics to save the future generation and instructed officers to work according to law, ensuring justice for the poor and helpless. He specifically warned police not to interfere in civil and land disputes and to follow standard operating procedures.

The CP noted a growing number of fake document cases and highlighted that GST-related offences are under investigation. The presentation covered key performance indicators and various policing initiatives implemented in the district.
Road safety statistics revealed that 146 road accident cases were registered in 2026 up to the review period, compared to 317 cases in 2025. Police have identified accident-prone black spots in urban and rural areas and are taking preventive measures by installing road dividers, warning signboards, and traffic indicators. In the cybercrime domain, 711 cases have been registered as of June 2026, with victims losing approximately ₹9.48 crore. Police successfully recovered and refunded ₹1.41 crore to victims.
