Hyderabad: The Director General of Police for Telangana, Dr. Jitender, recently reviewed the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) on Monday. He suggested that the TGCSB should serve as a support centre for police officers investigating cybercrimes in the state. This support would include providing technical assistance through a system that helps police units address issues using a ticket-raising module.

Shikha Goel, the Director of the Cyber Security Bureau, gave a tour of the Bureau and explained the different units that are currently in operation. During the meeting, she also outlined the goals of the TGCSB. These goals include reorganizing existing units, forming a joint operations unit for executing PT warrants, and tracking habitual cyber offenders by opening suspect sheets on them. The Bureau is also working on solving problems related to mule accounts and sending teams to other states to arrest cybercriminals.
