Bhupalapally: District Collector Rahul Sharma held an awareness program on the Bhu Bharathi portal at the Collectorate on Wednesday. The session included tahsildars, naib tahsildars, and girdawars. The Collector explained that the Bhu Bharathi portal is designed to help farmers and should be seen as their companion.
He stressed the importance of holding awareness programs according to a set schedule. He also mentioned the need to promote the new Revenue Act widely among the public so that everyone understands how it works.
As part of the program, a four-page booklet called “Bhu Bharathi Portal – A Farmer’s Companion” was handed out to the tahsildars. The Collector instructed that these awareness sessions must be held in every mandal between April 17 and April 28. He also suggested using loudspeaker announcements in villages to make sure more people attend the sessions.
The event was attended by Additional Collector Ashok Kumar, Kataram Sub-Collector Mayank Singh, RDO Ravinder, and revenue officials from all mandals.
