Warangal: SR University hosted the final round of TechStrom 2025, an exciting hackathon designed to inspire students to be innovative, creative, and technically skilled. The event took place on Wednesday at the university’s Ananthasagar Campus. A total of 150 student teams from different batches signed up to take part in the competition.
The hackathon began with the first round on March 19, 2025. In this phase, teams presented their ideas through a process called “idea pitching.” Judges evaluated the ideas based on creativity, practicality, and potential impact. Out of all the teams, 100 were selected to move on to the second round.
The second round was held on March 26. During this stage, teams worked on building simulations and prototypes of their ideas. This tested how well they could turn their concepts into real models. After careful judging, the top 50 teams advanced to the final round.
The grand finale took place on April 16. In this round, teams presented live demonstrations of their completed projects. After a detailed evaluation, 12 teams were chosen as winners and received prizes for their outstanding work.
The event was led by Dr. Sheshikala Martha, Head of the department, with important support from Dean Indrajeet Gupta, Dr. Pramod Kumar Poladi, Dr. Suresh Kumar Mandala, and Ch. Sandeep.
TechStrom 2025 gave young tech enthusiasts a chance to solve real-world problems using innovation, teamwork, and critical thinking. The organizers congratulated all the participants and winners for their hard work and success.
