Gadwal: In a thoughtful move to help students from rural areas, seven students from Pulikal Government High School received free bicycles. The event was held at the Gadwal District Collectorate and aimed to make it easier for students who travel long distances to get to school.
The bicycles were given out by Ganta Kavitha Devi, who is the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority. This effort is part of a larger mission to support education and make travel to school easier for students from poor or remote areas.
The students who got the bicycles come from villages like Kisan Nagar and Bainapalli. Most of them are girls who walk long distances every day to reach their school in Pulikal village.
The Headmistress of the school, Usharani, attended the event and praised the support. She said that giving bicycles to students can help improve their attendance and learning. She also thanked the Legal Services Authority and the district officials for helping rural students.
Parents and people from the local community also appreciated the program. They said the bicycles would make travel easier and encourage more children to stay in school.
This event shows the strong commitment of the district administration and other groups to improve education and help all students, especially those in rural areas.
