    District SP Rohit Raju IPS warns of severe consequences for selling fake seeds

    In Kothagudem, some people are selling fake seeds to trick farmers. They are using expired seeds to make new ones. District SP Rohit Raju has set up a special team with agricultural officials to stop this. Police will inspect seed shops to make sure they are following the rules.

    The government wants farmers to have good quality seeds. They are cracking down on those who sell fake seeds. Farmers are getting ready for planting in the monsoon. Some people are trying to sell fake seeds, so the police are giving instructions to seed shop owners in the district.

    People who sell fake seeds will be caught and punished. Police will take action against seed shop owners who don’t have licenses or sell fake seeds. Farmers are being taught to use seeds from authorized organizations. Checkpoints will be set up at borders to stop illegal seed transportation. Mobile checkpoints will also be used to stop fake seed supply.
