Gadwal is gearing up for a series of talent competitions as part of the Independence Day festivities. District Collector B.M. Santosh emphasized the importance of these activities in fostering creativity and awareness among students. The Praja Natya Mandali District Committee organized these events under the theme “Let’s Show Our Patriotism” to instill patriotic feelings.
Collector Santosh, during a brochure release in his office, pointed out that such competitions help students relieve academic pressure. He urged all students to participate and aim for success.

For high school students, drawing, singing, essay writing, and elocution contests are set for August 6 and 7. Intermediate students will have elocution and singing contests on August 5 and 8.
The brochure release saw the presence of Praja Natya Mandali District President Uppala Srinivas Reddy, District General Secretary S. Ashanna, and several district leaders including Thimmappa, Narasimha, Abhiram, Praveen, Elisha, and Rajesh. This initiative highlights a shared effort to cultivate talent and patriotism among the district’s youth leading up to the 78th Independence Day.
