Nagarkurnool – A special summer sports camp kicked off on Friday at the Zilla Parishad High School grounds in Nagarkurnool, aiming to train young athletes in football and volleyball. The District Youth and Sports Department is behind this initiative to encourage youth participation in sports.

Seetharam encouraged all participants to attend training sessions in the early mornings and late evenings to avoid the extreme summer heat. He urged the young players to listen carefully to their coaches, stay disciplined, and aim for success in national and international competitions.
He highlighted the benefits of sports, saying they not only build strength and stamina but also improve mental health. He also advised parents to guard their children against heat-related illnesses and support them in attending the camp regularly.
The camp has attracted about 20 to 30 young athletes, all eager to sharpen their skills.
Also present at the event were Volleyball Coach P. Satyanarayana, Football Coach Srikanth, President of the Yoga Association, and experienced footballers Sai Shashank, Hema Varun, Jeevan, and Ravi.
With expert coaches and supportive mentors, the camp promises a valuable opportunity for young talent in Nagarkurnool to grow and shine in the world of sports.
