    Nagar Kurnool: Dr. Chintapatla Neeraj, the Medical Officer of Nagarkurnool, spoke about the importance of using iodized salt in daily cooking. He encouraged families to make sure the salt they use contains iodine.

    On Friday, Dr. Neeraj visited Kasturba Gandhi School in Nagarkurnool village to raise awareness about the health risks of iodine deficiency. He explained to students why it is important to use iodized salt and urged them to use it in their daily meals.

    Dr. Neeraj pointed out that not getting enough iodine can cause problems like reduced alertness, lower intelligence, and issues with physical and mental growth, especially in children. He stressed that iodized salt can help prevent these problems.
