Drug racket busted by police in Punjagutta

In Hyderabad, the Panjagutta police have uncovered a major drug operation. Extosi pills, MDMA, and ganja were found in large quantities. Three individuals, Syed, Romi from Mumbai, and Saeed from Palestine, were arrested for bringing drugs from Goa to Hyderabad and selling them. Saeed is currently living in Hyderabad.

The police confiscated 4.75 grams of ectocy pills, 5.18 grams of MDMA, 109 grams of ganja, and two phones from the suspects. The group of individuals involved in the case includes 14 smugglers and 31 customers from Hyderabad. Investigation into the case is ongoing, with evidence showing that Romi purchased the drugs from Chris in Goa as per Saeed’s instructions.

In a separate incident in Jagtial, a disturbing revelation emerged related to drug use. A 10th-class student who was addicted to ganja was reportedly raped. The girl’s father reported the ganja case to the police, leading to the discovery of the ongoing abuse. The suspects involved in the rape have been identified as Prem, Venkatesh, and Nitin. The police have filed charges against them under the POCSO and NDPS Acts and are working to gather additional evidence.
