The Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh, Mukesh Kumar Meena, has issued a notice to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Naidu has been given 24 hours to remove objectionable posts uploaded by the TDP social media wing, following a complaint by YSCRCP MLC Lella Appi Reddy. The posts were deemed inappropriate and against the Model Code of Conduct.

In a separate complaint, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Saket Gokhale informed the CEO that the Prime Minister used an airforce helicopter to attend an NDA public meeting in Chilakaluripet. Gokhale stated that the PM’s use of an IAF chopper with tail number 5236 violated the MCC set by the Election Commission of India.
