The Election Commission has given approval for the Telangana State Cabinet meeting, but only urgent matters can be discussed before June 4th. This excludes topics like farmer loan waivers and issues related to the common capital. The meeting scheduled for Saturday was postponed.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and ministers waited at the Secretariat for the meeting on Saturday, but the EC’s approval did not come. The meeting was postponed around 7 PM.
The Cabinet was set to discuss important matters for farmers, including loan waivers, grain purchases, Kharif crop planning, and the upcoming Telangana formation day on June 2nd. The Chief Minister also planned to address issues between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana under the Reorganization Act, but these topics may not be discussed now.
