    The Election Commission of India has appointed eight IAS officers as general observers to oversee the elections in Hyderabad, according to the District Election Officer, Ronald Rose. These officers have been appointed to 15 Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad. The appointed officers are Yatindra Prasad for Malakpet and Amberpet, Sameer Verma for Charminar and Chandrayanagutta, J Jayakanthan for Khairtabad and Jubilee Hills, Dr Ahmed Iqbal for Sanath Nagar and Nampally, Kavitha Ramu for Karwan and Goshamahal, Dipankar Sinha for Yakutpura and Bahadurpura, Gayathri Krishnan for Secunderabad and Secunderabad Cantonment, and Sachindra Pratap Singh for Musheerabad constituency.

    Meanwhile, Sameer Varma, the General Observer for Charminar and Chandrayangutta Assembly constituencies, visited the GHMC headquarters to inspect the preparations for the upcoming elections. Ronald Rose, the DEO, briefed him about the check posts set up across the city. He also explained that flying squads and Static surveillance teams were being monitored through GPS systems in vehicles. Additionally, the MCC control room and command control room were working together, and election-related permits were being processed quickly. The authorities were also monitoring liquor shops and Distribution and Reception Centres (DRCs) through CC cameras.
