The dispute between labor unions in Singareni over the election of the recognition committee is getting more intense. The elections were supposed to happen on December 27 but were postponed due to the assembly elections. The Telangana Energy Department has asked for more time to prepare for the elections after the change of government in the state.

The recognition committee has filed a petition to postpone the elections and the High Court has adjourned the hearing to the 18th. The AITUC leaders are accusing the NITUC leaders of influencing the Energy Department’s approach to the court. On the other hand, the NITUC leaders are blaming the AITUC leaders for all the problems.
