The Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, spoke about good governance in Telangana at a program in Mahbubnagar village. He praised Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for making Telangana a model state. KCR helped strengthen gram panchayats by giving them more funds. Before, the panchayats were very poor. But now, villages are self-sufficient thanks to the Palle Pragathi program. Every village has better roads too.
KCR also made administration easier for people by splitting 10 districts into 33 districts and increasing the number of revenue divisions from 43 to 74.
