Etala calls back Karpuri Thakur’s services

Former minister and BJP leader Etala Rajender praised former Bihar chief minister Karpuri Thakur for his role in providing reservations for BCs, MBCs, and women. Rajender made these comments while releasing the calendar of BC Samaj in Hyderabad. He mentioned that the decision to implement the Mungeri Lal Commission report, which recommended reservation in government jobs, faced opposition within the party and led to his own removal. However, Rajender acknowledged that the efforts of Karpuri Thakur have benefited BCs today. The event was attended by BC Samaj State president Sangem Surya Rao, BC Samaj Youth Wing State president P Satish Sagar, and national MBC leader Venkatesh.
