Hyderabad: On Saturday, Stanley College of Engineering for Women hosted a major event, the ‘Workshop Expo – 2025’. The event, led by Dr. K. Rajesh (Associate Professor & Convener), showcased over 100 project models created by students.
Prof. L. Sivarama Krishna from Osmania University attended as the Chief Guest and Judge. During his speech, he emphasized that engineering extends beyond textbooks, focusing on applying innovative ideas to benefit society. He highlighted that engineering involves practical solutions across sectors like technology, healthcare, agriculture, and transportation.
He stressed that engineering is all about solving problems and urged students to prioritize practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge. Prof. Krishna encouraged students to draw inspiration from renowned figures like Sir C.V. Raman, Madam Curie, and Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya to display their technical talents and creativity.
Projects such as robotic technology, security detectors, rechargeable machines, solar energy initiatives, electric car models, drone technology, and 3D printing stood out at the expo.
