Former Deputy Chief Minister in the Unified AP, Damodara Raja Narasimha, has been appointed as a minister in the new Telangana cabinet. He is a prominent member of the Congress party and has been dedicated to public service for many years. Raja Narasimha entered politics in 1989 and won his first election as a Congress candidate. He has held various ministerial positions in the past, including Deputy Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh. He was also appointed as a Permanent Invitee to the Congress Working Committee in August 2023. In the recent assembly elections, Raja Narasimha secured another victory from the Andole constituency. He is now ready to serve the people of Telangana as a minister under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership.
