He encouraged party members to visit their areas and work with local officials to assess the situation. He reminded farmers not to worry, as the government will help them. The Chief Minister also visited affected areas and promised assistance. More rain is expected in the coming days, so officials have been asked to be available in the field. Agricultural crops in some areas have been damaged, and the Chief Secretary has been directed to assess the harm caused to crops by the Chief Minister.
