Fear of Heart Attack Leads Youth to End Life in Hyderabad

A young man from Chendippa village in Rangareddy district committed suicide because he was scared of having a heart attack. Harikrishna, who was studying engineering, had suffered a heart attack three years ago but the chest pain had decreased after taking medicine prescribed by a doctor. However, he continued to experience frequent heartaches and on Sunday he bought medicine for the pain but it didn’t work. That night, after dinner with his family, he wrote a suicide note and hanged himself from a tree in a farm. His parents found his body the next morning and were devastated. The police registered a case and started investigating. In the suicide note, Harikrishna apologized to his family and said he missed them.
