Text Size: 100%

Women teachers in Khammam district have made a decision not to use the free travel provided by the Telangana government for women in RTC buses. Instead, they will purchase tickets for their travel. They believe that this opportunity should be left for the poor and that they have the financial ability to pay for their own tickets.

The women teachers, who work at Khammam Rural Mandal M Venkatayapalem Zilla Parishad High School, came together and unanimously agreed to not use the free bus facility. They feel that it is more appropriate for college students, poor individuals, and elderly people to benefit from this service.

By making this decision, the women teachers hope to support the RTC (Road Transport Corporation) and contribute to the livelihood of auto workers. Their choice has received praise and appreciation from others.
