The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) in Hyderabad has formed a new women’s wing. This is the first time a separate wing for women has been created. Its aim is to bring together female professionals from the public, private, and NGO sectors, journalism, and management faculty and students. The goal is to address issues, discuss ideas, celebrate achievements and set agendas for the common good. The new wing hopes to provide a solid platform for women professionals while ensuring collaboration between PR, media, and academia.

The PRSI’s national general secretary, Y Babji, said the new wing is an important step for women in the industry. Anitha, the convener of PRSI, said they are excited about creating an exclusive programme. They plan to improve membership and take up many programmes to support women in the industry. The team hopes to provide a platform for women professionals to connect and grow together. They believe collaboration between PR, media, and academia is essential for women’s success.
