Former DSP Nalini, who resigned during the Telangana State agitation, has written a letter to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in response to his direction to reinstate her. She thanked the CM for his affection but declined to take up the job as she has joined a religious order. She requested the CM to support her in her religious campaign instead. Nalini mentioned that the previous government did not recognize her sacrifice and it has been almost nine-and-a-half years since the state’s formation. CM Revanth Reddy recently ordered her immediate reinstatement if she is interested. He also mentioned Nalini during a police department review and instructed that she should be given the same rank in a different department if rules prevent her from getting the same post.
