Ahead of the IPL 2023 final between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans, former India cricketer Atul Wassan praised GT opener Shubman Gill. Wassan claimed that Gill’s next target is Dhoni’s Chennai as he had hit a century against RCB and then repeated the feat against Mumbai. Wassan believes that Gill will gobble up the trio of Dhoni, Kohli, and Rohit because of the way he is batting. Wassan also praised Gujarat Titans’ team, saying they have looked excellent and have a good bowling depth. Despite coming in as a new team, they have made an impact.

Wassan added that Gill is a well-grounded player and has looked composed. The spotlight will be on Gill, and it would be interesting to see if he can hammer another century or not.
