YS Bhaskar Reddy has filed a petition in the Telangana High Court challenging the declaration of A-4 Dastagiri as an approver in the YS Viveka murder case. Bhaskar Reddy argues that it is not reasonable to impeach them solely on the basis of Dastagiri’s statement and has called for the cancellation of Dastagiri’s bail.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) interrogated Avinash Reddy and Bhaskar Reddy based on Dastagiri’s statement. Bhaskar Reddy has claimed that Dastagiri played a key role in Viveka’s murder case and is now giving a statement as instructed by the CBI.
Bhaskar Reddy has also expressed his opinion that it is not right to grant bail to Dastagiri, who played a significant role in the case. He stated in the petition that it was Dastagiri who purchased the key weapon used in Viveka’s murder case, and the CBI cooperated during Dastagiri’s bail. Bhaskar Reddy believes that the lower court ignored the evidence against Dastagiri.
