Former State Intelligence Bureau Chief T Prabhakar Rao is currently being investigated by the police. He called a top police official to say he was getting cancer treatment in the USA and would return in July. After the arrest of two additional SPs, Thirupathanna and N Bhujanga Rao, the Hyderabad police implicated Prabhakar Rao and former deputy commissioner P Radha Krishna Rao in the phone tapping case. A Look Out Circular has been issued for Prabhakar Rao. The police claim that Prabhakar Rao ordered the illegal phone tapping of political leaders and businessmen.
