Hyderabad: Four newly elected members of the Legislative Council (MLCs), chosen under the MLA quota, will take their oath in Hyderabad tomorrow. The ceremony will be led by the Chairman of the Council, Gutta Sukhender Reddy.
Among those taking oath are three members from the Congress party: veteran actress-turned-politician Vijaya Shanti, Addanki Dayakar, and Shankar. They were recently elected and are now officially joining the Council.
Nellikanti Satyam, representing the Communist Party of India (CPI), will also be sworn in during the event.
In addition, BJP leaders Komurayya and Anjireddy are expected to take part in the ceremony. They have secured their positions in the Council through nominations by their party.
