    Bhadrachalam recently hosted a grand spiritual event as the Sri Sitarama Swamy Thirukalyana Mahotsavam was celebrated with devotion and traditional rituals. The ceremony, which marks the divine wedding of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, attracted thousands of devotees from different parts of the region.

    Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and his wife attended the event on behalf of the state government. As part of the official offerings, the Chief Minister presented silk clothes and sacred rice mixed with turmeric (called talambralu) to the deities. The couple also had a special viewing of the idols, known as darshan, and received blessings.

    The event was held at the Mithila Stadium in Bhadrachalam. It was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, several ministers including Tummala Nageswara Rao, Konda Surekha, and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, as well as other public representatives.

    Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, senior government officials, and a large number of devotees were part of the celebration. Their presence added to the spiritual and festive mood of the occasion.

    The Thirukalyana Mahotsavam is an important annual tradition in Bhadrachalam. It celebrates the sacred marriage of Lord Rama and Sita and is known for its religious importance, cultural rituals, and joyful gatherings.
