Fourteen-year struggle for Telangana remembered by KCR

The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao, greeted the people on the state’s Decennial celebrations. He spoke about the struggles and challenges faced by Telangana during the fight for a separate state. The movement started six decades ago and underwent a 14-year long struggle, which was mostly peaceful and democratic. Despite hardships and obstacles, Telangana became a role model for the country within nine years of its formation on June 2, 2014.

The Chief Minister expressed pride that Telangana’s model of development is being praised by people from all states after nine years since its formation. The government will celebrate the decennial celebrations for three weeks in a grand manner and showcase its achievements in various sectors. These sectors include Agriculture, Irrigation, Electricity, Education, Medical, Welfare, and Financial sectors. The Chief Minister urged the people of the state to participate in the celebrations with enthusiasm and make it a grand success.
